About us

The Amario-Majus firm of architects and urban planners was founded in 1970 by Architects Moshe Amario and Eli Majus both graduates of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at the Technion, Haifa, Israel in 1965.

A relatively new addition to the firm is Ariel Amario, graduate of the School of Architecture, Tel Aviv University in 2002.

The firm has earned a substantial number of its commissions as a result of the many awards won in the numerous public design competitions in which it has participated since the company was established.

The firm is involved in a wide variety of design projects; public buildings, university faculties and educational institutions, residential projects and town planning. Its work is characterized by the special emphasis placed on existing human and environmental relationships and is based on a set of values designed to inspire a sense of identity and activity.

The firm keeps abreast on new urban trends and construction technologies, is a regular competitor in design competitions, provides instruction at academic institutions and participates in cultural and public activities.
